the StraightJackets has been insanity since 1994............... as the origin and founder, first thanks to all our players and members. i know we were all given some incredible times called life at it's fullest, hope everybody landed back on their feet ............... oh history, the StraightJackets is the ultimate supercharged garage band. we don't do contest, battle of the bands, anything that. no award pursuits, stifles for accolades.............. we're we're one of the most famous infamous bands you've ever know ............. we've played 1000's of gigs, not that it sounds like it sometimes, dooooh. we've put out literally 1000's of cd's , and have fans all over the world.... other than that we suck, but we're lucky, daring, and TENACIOUS. plus we have incredible account who can cook....................
as for recording we've keep some songs simple and straight forward ........... capture a feeling, while maintaining a rawness............. other songs more worked out, no more than 2 guitar parts as for lyrics and content, i try to run a family show and don't mind going down like that..... I'm successful, I don't mind a little class, and in a hateful world, cussing , hate, violence grinds on me .............. life's simple, peace is easy you just don't want it, so that's it.
I like working in the day and making music at night .......... love is the message, you know it's right, we don't slag on it, and we try not to degrade it ........... we love and respect women, and cultures.......... in my opinion we all fail our religions making our maker to look cold, murderous, and perverted, plus in need of our money.................. instead of, loving, merciful, peaceful and forgiving. to serve is to lead, to lead is to serve so if you catch me talking to the wind know I'm just saying thanks for more than I ever deserved ...................... now lets go drink responsibly James
